Breath in, hold and relax. The art of breathing is simple in nature but powerful when used with a purpose. On average, we breathe 23,000 times a day, making it one of the single most important unconscious things we do. The style and way in which we breathe also plays a huge role in how we interact with the world around us.
Proper breathing has become somewhat of a lost art however due to stress, long hours at work and muscular imbalances. Breathwork can help relax the sympathetic nervous system (Fight or Flight) and reset the parasympathetic nervous system (Rest and Digest), ease stress and anxiety, allow proper body chemistry to take place and to help gain a deeper, more clear state of mind.
Utilizing principals from Wim Hoff, DNS, mindfulness/ mediation, over breathing and holotropic breath work; ESM breathwork classes focus on optimizing the bodies innate ability to breath and to take our participants through a guided session of breathing, relaxation and meditation, bringing you into a more parasympathetic state.
